Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Ghostfeed collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Ghostfeed is operated by Landon Powers ("Ghostfeed", "we", "us"). Questions: support@ghostfeedhq.com.

1. Information we collect

You give us

• Email address — to create your account and send login codes and drop notifications.
• Your niche and content preferences — the topic and style you choose, so we can build your videos.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of your card; we do not store full card numbers.
• Anything you type — notes on videos you review, messages you send us.

You authorize us to access

• Your connected social accounts — when you link a TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook account, we receive a token that lets us post the videos you approve and read the performance of those posts (views, likes, comments, watch time). We never post anything you have not approved. You can disconnect an account at any time.

Collected automatically

• Basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for security, rate-limiting, and preventing abuse.
• Agreement records — the version of these policies you accepted and when.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to advertisers.

2. How we use it

• Run your account and log you in.
• Research trends and generate, render, and deliver your monthly videos.
• Post approved videos to your connected accounts and read their performance so the system can adjust future videos toward what works for you.
• Send you service email (your drop is ready, billing receipts, important changes).
• Protect the service from fraud and abuse, and comply with law.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job:

• Cloudflare — hosting, our database, and video storage.
• Resend — sending login codes and notification email.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Anthropic — the AI model used to research trends and write scripts. Your niche text and prompts are sent; your email and payment data are not.
• The social platforms you connect (TikTok, Meta/Instagram, Google/YouTube) and, where used, a posting provider that publishes on our behalf — to upload the videos you approve.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Ghostfeed or others.

4. Data from social platforms

Information we obtain through the TikTok, Meta, and Google APIs is used only to provide features you asked for — publishing approved videos and reporting their performance back to you. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we handle it in line with each platform's developer terms. If you disconnect an account or delete your Ghostfeed account, we delete the associated tokens and stop accessing that platform.

5. How long we keep it

• Account data — while your account is active, and for up to 12 months after cancellation in case you return, then deleted.
• Generated videos and their performance data — while your account is active; removed within 60 days of account deletion.
• Billing records — kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.
• Agreement and security logs — up to 2 years.

6. Your choices

• Access or export — email us for a copy of your account data.
• Correction — update your niche and settings in your dashboard, or email us.
• Deletion — email support@ghostfeedhq.com and we will delete your account and personal data, except records we must keep by law. This also happens automatically 12 months after cancellation.
• Disconnect a platform — remove any connected social account from your dashboard at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Email us to exercise them; we do not charge for reasonable requests and we do not discriminate against you for making one.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, store only hashed login codes and session tokens (never passwords, because there are none), and limit access to production data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Children

Ghostfeed is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If we make a material change, we will update the date above and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
